What a Wonderful Weekend!

We had celebration #1 for the big first birthday! My parents came for the long weekend to celebrate Ellie's March 4th birthday and my dad's 60th which is today. Happy birthday, Dad! We had such a great time...they haven't seen Ellie since Christmas which is the longest stretch since she was born. It was such a fun visit because she is now able to "play" with everyone! She's also taken some more steps and enjoyed practicing that! Some weekend highlights ~ Ellie LOVES vanilla soft serve icecream and ate a potato chip :) She's a VERY picky eater, so we're happy to have a short list of "go to" items - peanut butter, bread, crackers, cheerios and now ice cream! Ellie and my mom had MANY tea parties over the weekend - I love how engrossed Ellie is and pretends to eat the fake treats :)
